Reminder: New USAG rule regarding judges gifts at any sanctioned meet. None may be given. (except by Regional board)

USA Project 2012

COACHES AND JUDGES: Reminder for Optionals - the only allowable 4" throw mat for VT, BB, and UB is the wide 7x10 mat. The skinny 5x10 mat can still be used for FX. For college - they have allowed the 5x10 4" throw mat this season for all events. (Read the Rules and Policies Equipment section - you can see it on line.

USAG Washington is looking for clubs that would like to host the 2011 USAG Washington State Clinic.

While there is no compensation for this, the club that hosts the event will be awarded a free small club registration to the clinic that year. Clubs must be willing to allow USAG WA use of their facilities Saturday and Sunday (and possibly Friday).

Space must accommodate 200 coaches, and have space for a luncheon for 150, 1 or 2 floor mats, pits, and 2-3 smaller break out rooms required. Tables, and chairs will be needed. E-mail USAG Washington at usagwashington@aol.com if you are interested. 2010 dates: June 4-6.2010. The USAG WA board will select the host. Bids (please use the bid form for meets in the R and P) are due by February 1, 2010

To all clubs from the NAWGJ-WA Assignor:
USAG requires that new judges only be assigned to two judge panels for their first year of judging. We have several new judges who we have not been able to assign due to the fact that the majority of meets are single judge panels. With several of our most senior judges retiring we are asking for your help in getting experience for our new people.

If your club is hosting a compulsory meet with single judge panels and you would be willing to have one new judge assigned to the meet as a 5th judge, judging with an experienced person, please email Barb MacAfee . Thanks so much for considering this request.

Due to confidentiality, no meet results may be posted on a website with birthdates or USAG numbers, and the host club must have listed that the meet results would be posted PRIOR to the meet in their meet information. Meet Directors Memo from Kathy Feldmann & Kathy Kelly 1-11-09 concerning posting of athlete's personal information. (Age groups may be posted.)

NOTICE: Clubs that have been victims of embezzlement / fraud from the inside are asked to contact Loree Galimore at LGALI@usa-gymnastics.org . An article is being written to help club owners prevent these situations from occurring. All information will remain anonymous.
